Dear Diary,
It is nice to be back writing again. I took some time off to enjoy the later part of the summer and now I am ready to write again.
It was a really nice summer and now it is fall already and it feels and looks like it out there. Today Mum and Dad did a little bit of tightening up around the place to get ready for the winter weather. We did manage to get down to the pier downtown for a little bit too so it has been a good day overall. Hard to believe I will be 11 months old in a few days!! Life goes by pretty fast!

Dear Diary,
Here I am again with winter nipping at my tail. No snow on the ground at this time although we did have one little system that did whiten things up for a half of day or so, but that is all gone. I do get the feeling it won't be long now before winter is here to stay. Let it come!
We went to Damariscotta today. Mum wanted to take Dad and I out for a ride since it is suppose to turn colder and things could get a little slick out there. They did get me a couple more toys. Pretty neat. They had bought me a toy box earlier in the week so I have a nice place to keep all of these toys but I doubt it will get much use unless Dad gets on one of his "what a mess" rants and cleans the toys up. Oh well. I am only a little dog. (never hurts to play dumb!! HaHa)
I do have a nice collection of sweaters since I last wrote. Mum loves to dress me up and I must admit that I feel a little naked without one on each day now. So every morning, Mum tells me to go pick out a sweater and I jump up on the chair where she keeps them laid out for me and pick out what I would like to wear. It has become something we do each day and she likes it as much as me!! I must admit, most days I look pretty good! I will try to post a few pictures so you can see what I mean.
I will close for now but promise to be better about writing more often so come back soon!! Woof, Woof!!
ps......Did I mention I am now 1 year old!! Yup, had a big party on the 20th!! I am getting old, but I think I am aging well!! lol
